This system is great. Easy to Install and program. Installed the system and programed in less than 2 hours. The instructions are easy and to the point.
The service at Safemart has been exceptional. While the instruction manual for the Simon 3 is not entirely intuitive, I never felt like I couldn't message or call the support team at SafeMart. This is an exceptional company. Congratulations and thank you!
The system has been installed for over a year and has operated without any problems. It was a learning experience to install, but the system has a very good manual and Safemart technicians always provide help when needed. The system is very easy to expand and check.
I have had this system for about a year now and it works great. It is easy to install but the options can get a little tricky I think there are 96 of them. But a call to Safemart got me on the right track. If you mount the sensors with 2 sided tape use the 3 m stuff and cover the entire back of the sensor. The little black strips that come in the sensor package will come off due to heat and time. I put a sensor on every window and door in the house and motion sensors in the living room and family room. I poped for the X-10 transformer and added a few 105db horns and used the all lights on option when the alarm is tripped but it does require more X-10 light modules. I really like that when you arm it it tells you if a window or door is open. My wife says she just feels better when we are away or when she is alone at night. We have never had a break in but still better safe than sorry.
When I first recived the kit I was a little disappointed as to the requirements on my behalf. You must strip wires and build your own cord to plug it in (everything was included). Setting up the sensors was a bit of a trick, however for everything I found fault in, Safemart's Tech Support was on the scene to help out with. I really think I am going to enjoy the system as I learn to use it.
