The 4297 V-Plex Loop Isolation/Extender Module provides dual benefits for commercial functions. As an isolation module, the 4297 gives installers the ability to group selected zones on one loop. For example, it is possible to group fire and burglary zones separately; which will in effect isolate one from another. This isolation characteristic stops failure in one loop from compromising the integrity of any other loop. The 4297 Module also provides installers the flexibility to widen system wiring capability, from approximately 4000 ft to 8000 ft., without having to undergo the added expense of additional hardware or control panels.
