I added this remote to my Lynx alarm system because I got tired or running to the front of the house to disarm the system to go out the back door. The keypad installed in just a few minutes and works well. I mounted it on the wall next to the back door not only for the ease of disarming the system, but also as a reminder that I have to disarm the alarm before opening the door. My only issue with this keypad is that you have to type in your security code quickly or it won't work and you have to re-enter it. Other than that, it's the perfect accessory to the Lynx alarm system.
