ADEMCO's 5853 Wireless Glassbreak Detector supplies uncompromised security protection while still providing the best false alarm immunity. The FlexCoreâ„¢ signal processor makes use of an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)- which processes sound data in parallel rather than sequentially. This special feature lets sound frequency, duration and amplitude to be received and processed 50% faster in order to minimize the number of false alarms while still keeping the best possible level of detection. The 5853 can be mounted on any wall or ceiling within a 25' range, and it has absolutely no minimum range limitations. The LEDs designate test mode, alarms and trouble conditions. This device is designed to be compatible with all 5800 series wireless devices.
