The ELK-120 version 2 features 4 channels that can be conveniently configured as 2 channels of siren and 2 channels of voice, or it is possible for all 4 channels to be used for voice. In either condition, the voice channels are entirely recordable and are remembered in a non-volatile re-programmable memory. Total recording time is 8 minutes. The Siren channels supply an available choice of: Classic Yelp Sounds, Temporal Coded Horn, or Pulsing Industrial Horn.
The siren sounds can be activated in sequence with the voice channels. The channels can be set up to play just once or to repeat endlessly. Two of these channels are designed to support our exclusive ComboTrigger feature, specially designed for controls having a single alarm output with a pulsing selection for fire or burglary alarms. When pulsed, the Temporal Coded Horn fire signal is activated. The optional ELK-129 Computer Interface can be used to download .WAV sound files from a PC to the ELK-120. Also easily available is the ELK-124 providing 8 recordable voice channels of 1 minute a piece.
