The Universal Alarm Bridge (UAB) is a cellular communicator that's great for those without a landline. It's 80% smaller than competitive standalone communicators, and the first of it's kind designed to leverage the power and backup battery that already exists in the panel.
And, if you prefer not to install it at the panel, you can run both the power and telephone to the UAB over a single CAT5 cable, the same way computer networks use Power over Ethernet to provide power to networking equipment.
