The Garage Butler will automatically close your garage door when you forget. You can now have peace of mind knowing that you never have to worry about leaving it open again.
According to statistics, half of all burglaries occur from a garage door being left open. The Garage Butler will eliminate the possibility of this happening to you.
This patented device will attach to any garage door mechanism that has a working opener/closer button* and will not interfere with the opener's normal operation, nor will it interfere with any infrared safety circuit.
If you forget to close the door, the door will close automatically when it gets dark. Or you can turn the switch to the 'off' position and you can leave your garage door open for an unlimited period of time.

*The Garage Butler works by attaching itself to the contacts found inside the button that is used to open and close the garage door. If you do not have a button on the wall, make sure that your opener/closer system has contacts on the actual unit by the roof. Additional wire may need to be purchased from your local hardware store to lengthen the wire so that it can be attached to your existing opener/closer.

Not only did it close the door. It closed the door on my neighbor kids bike. Then it just sat there opening and closing for the next 9 hours till I got home. The door and bike were trashed. Now you have to worry about your pets etct, or something stopping it from closing all the way. If it doesn’t it will go up and down all day.

This thing works just as advertised. I used to regularly forget to close the garage door. This caused strife with my wife and even resulted in my bicycle being stolen. A couple years ago I bought this and it brings peace of mind to both of us. Every time I hear the beeping noise from the garage butler prior to it shutting the door I am reminded of what I great buy this was. I just wish I bought it before my bike was taken. By the way safemart was great to deal with. My shipment was lost and they replaced it with no hassles at all.

I'm one of those person that don't remember if I did close the garage after driving down the block already. I usually have to drive back to the house to check so for me this product is a time saver. It took me approximately an hour to install it but most of the time was spent thinking where to install it. Otherwise, it is very easy to install. I'm glad to have purchased the Garage Butler.

I installed two Garage Butler Automatic Garage Door Closers within 30-35 minutes. I was suppressed at the ease of installation with common household tools and no extra wires or tools to purchase.

I've had mine installed for a few days now, and so far it works perfectly. Piece of cake to install, and peace of mind not worrying about "Did you shut the garage door?"! I wish it had been invented 20 years ago!
