The AP950PI is a 35' passive infrared motion sensor with an 80 lbs. pet capacity for immunity* or a 50' standard sensor. It is extremely sensitive to moving infrared sources. It features unsurpassed immunity to RFI, vibration, static electricity, temperature changes, and various other false alarm sources.

The AP950PI is finely calibrated through the optics to reduce variations in sensitivity from one unit to another. The unit brings jumper-selectable sensitivity, LED, and mode settings. It's made to receive either the pet immune or the standard 50' mirror provided.

The included masks let the coverage web be modified for a wide variety of uses. The AP950PI sensor utilizes true curtain "barriers." These infrared barriers provide consistent coverage all the way down to the floor for maximum security and "undercrawl" protection. Moving focus curtains provide better balance and coverage independent of mounting height as compared to beams.

Also, the AP950PI uses 4D signal processing to evaluate a pending signal size, speed, shape, and duration. If the signal matches that made by a human signature, the sensor goes into alarm. This original technology automatically changes its alarm threshold when faced with a wide selection of environmental disturbances or harsh environments. The result is less false alarms and better quality detection.
