OPTEX's outdoor detection affords many advantages for your security business. The LX-402/802 is not only easy to install, but provides greater protection against false alarms started by sunlight.Optex's LX-402 and LX-802N are well-suited for Outdoor activation, annunciation and automation functions. Readily available in 40'x50' (120) or 80'x6' nets, these detectors sport special UV resistant lenses and casings for outdoor utility. LX Detectors also have an easy Pet Alley adjustment capability, selectable sensitivity and pulse counter, very strong Sunlight & RFI Immunity, integrated photocell, and a Form C relay output. Normal outdoor passive infrared detectors frequently produce false alarms begun by sunlight. But, OPTEX's LX-402/802 uses Double Conductive Shielding which can resist more than 50,000 lux of sunlight (for example, during sunrises and sunsets). This provides highly stable coverages, while letting the units be used in a variety of applications.
