The 4209U Group Zoning Module simplifies large or expanded system installment. In retrofit applications, installers can use the existing hardwired smoke detectors (UL Compatibility Listed) and wiring to enlarge system-wide smoke detector coverage. The 4209U also gives flexible zone arrangements to meet the a variety of demands for commercial applications.

• Uses a combination of two-wire smoke detectors from an area of the guarded premises into group zones
• Can be remotely connected or attached at the panel
• All loops are EOLR directed (2K, supplied)
• Supplies power and supervision for two-wire industry standard smoke detectors (review UL compatibility listing)
• Each loop has the ability to support up to 16 smoke detectors in the non-grouped mode, or 21 smoke detectors in the grouped mode
• Made to support four-wire smoke detectors
• Works with two or four V-Plex addresses
• Designed to support either dip switch or serial number applications
• UL864 listed NFPA 72 conformable
• Includes separate DC input, which ensures no current drain from primary V-Plex loop
• Can greatly expand smoke detection coverage area economically
