The MCT-501 is a fully supervised digital glass-break wireless detector that is designed to be compatible with Visonic PowerMax and PowerCode wireless systems; a dependable unit for any home or business!

Utilizing advanced patented acoustic pattern recognition technology, the MCT-501 is designed to discern between a real break and a false alarm. It supplies 360 protection with a detection range up to 6m (20 ft). Furthermore, it is constructed to be used on and discern different kinds of glass including plate, tampered, laminated, and wired.

When a glass break is detected, the MCT-501 emits a signal using a PowerCode transmission, which is a unique, reproduction-proof code randomly selected from 16 million possible combinations. An anti-collision function assists in preventing signal jamming produced by simultaneous alarm signals from other security devices.

The MCT-501 guarantees the systems reliability and functionality by sending out regular supervisory reports, which include battery conditions, to the wireless control panel or receiver.
