The MCM-140 is a universal wireless portable remote control unit designed for the Visonic PowerMax™ and other Visonic PowerCode™ security systems and home automation. The MCM-140 enables easy programming, arming, and disarming of the PowerMax™ system. It is also able to control various X-10 devices at home or in the office using PowerMax™ keypad commands.
The MCM-140 utilizes Visonic's PowerCode™ wireless technology featuring a 16 million possible code combinations and intelligent, anti-collision transmission algorithms. For arming, disarming and other security features, the MCM-140 employs Visonic's CodeSecure™ wireless technology, which uses over 100 million possible combinations and proprietary rolling code encryption algorithm to foil any "code grabbing" which may be attempted by potential intruders.
This user-friendly remote control has access to several optional frequencies that conform to European, U.S. and other international regulations. A standard long-life Lithium battery powers the MCM-140. It also contains visible and transmitted low battery alarms. A wall-mounted bracket gives you the possibility of mounting the unit in the most convenient place for quick and accessible use.
