The ELK-981K Cell-Pack is an excellent companion for Cellular Alarm Transceivers. It consists of a rugged metal housing, 12 Volt DC power supply and battery charger, and a telephone line fault supervisor. It offers a 1 Amp constant current and 2.5 Amps peak crrent supply for short high current requirements during the radio transmissions. The relay contacts coming from the line fault monitor can alert the alarm panel if the telephone line is cut, or they can be used to shunt the radio transceiver so long as the telephone line is in good working order.
