The ELK-951 is an RJ31/38X Telephone Jack with a solid state transient power fluctuation suppression manufactured to protect both the Telephone and Low Voltage AC Transformer inputs on an alarm control panel. It automatically responds to power surges and transients in less than a 1 nanosecond time period, thus automatically restoring itself after every power surge occurring within the specified ratings. The ELK-951 is small, easy to install, and it features top quality, clearly labeled screw connection terminals, an 8 pin modular phone connector, an internal tamper detection loop, and automatic shorting pins for easy cord removal.
The ELK-951 is FCC Registered under part 68 and eradicates the necessity for having a separate RJ31X telephone jack.
