Concept
The Interswitch is a lighting controller for use with all Redwall detection products. The device can be powered directly from a 220/240vac supply, or 110vac input models can be ordered. The Interswitch is able to perform a variety of functions to make inclusion in any detection system simple. These include the following:

Power Supply
The Interswitch will provide a 12vdc output to power detectors up to a current limit of 500mA.

Light Sensor
The Interswitch has an on-board photocell to allow the unit to switch lighting only during the hours of darkness. This light sensor can be mounted remotely from the Interswitch by using the DS 105 sensor. An adjustment controls the lighting level required for the unit to activate.

On Timer
Lighting 'On' times can be controlled between 1 and 20 minutes.

Remote 'On'
The Interswitch has a pair of input terminals to allow the lighting to be switched from a remote position. This is particularly useful where the lighting needs to be controlled on a remote CCTV monitoring system.

Weatherproof
The Interswitch is housed in an IP 66 enclosure to allow its' use in the harshest environments.

Lighting Load
The Interswitch can switch lighting loads of up to 1200 watts (750 watts on 110vac input versions).
