The new Mesa MBF series offers a unique design that combines all the security features of a burglary safe and the peace of mind achieved with a fire safe.
Door
Overall thickness of 3 3/4" and is constructed with a 1" defense barrier of outer and inner steel plates creating a single structure enclosing a unique, high density fire and burglary resistant composite material. Defense barrier houses a proprietary amalgamation of nuggets and steel fibers to withstand concentrated attacks with the most sophisticated equipment used by burglars today.
Body
Total protection thickness of 2" enclosing a unique proprietary burglary and fire resistant composite material with nuggets and steel fibers.
Fire Protection
One hour, 350° F factory fire rated. Tested at temperatures up to 1750° F. Fire gasket surrounds the entire door frame.
Standard Security Features:
- Strong composite filled construction for protection against burglary.
- Factory tested 2 hour 350° F fire rating.
- One recessed anchor bolt provided to securely anchor safe.
- UL Listed Group II lock protected by a drill resistant hardplate.
- Three massive 1" diameter solid steel chrome plated locking bolts.
- Equipped with an internal relocking device which provides a secondary line of defense.
- Three 1" solid steel dead bolts lock deep into the body preventing door removal during a forced entry attempt.
- Door seal expands up to 8 times its original thickness when exposed to high temperatures sealing safe contents from harm.
- Heavy duty steel hinges provide easy smooth door operation.
