The Visonic MCT-234 is a 4-button wireless miniature CodeSecure keyfob transmitter manufactured for arming and disarming of wireless security systems, in addition to emergency signaling, access control, home automation and remote control applications.
When triggered, each button sends a transmission of a unique 28-bit (rolling code) ID command, randomly selected from over 100 million possible code combinations. To avoid "code grabbing" by potential intruders attempting to defeat the security system, the next time the button is depressed, the transmitter sends out a completely different ID signal, which is selected by a proprietary code encryption algorithm and which can be identified only by the target receiver.
This attractively designed miniature keyfob is available in several optional frequencies which are in compliance with European, U.S and most other international standards. As a power supply this unit uses a standard alkaline battery and also features visible and transmitted low battery indications when the battery is running low and needs to be replaced.
